As of 6 pm, 95 bodies have been found in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa due to the severe flood that occurred this morning.
According to the data provided by the Nepal Police, the bodies of 27 women, 37 men, 6 girls, 5 boys and 20 unidentified people have been found. Out of which, the body of 1 man has been found in Rasuwa.
The number of tourists missing due to the Rasuwa flood has reached 403. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, 341 foreigners and 62 Nepali tourists have gone missing. Of which 203 are men and 200 are women.
The largest number of those who are uncontacted are Indians. A total of 133 Indian tourists are missing. 47 Americans are missing. 33 British, 34 Australians, 24 Canadians, 19 Malaysians, 7 Ukrainians and 6 South African tourists are missing.

95 Bodies Found, 403 Tourists Missing as Death Toll Rises in Rasuwa Flood
As of 6 pm, 95 bodies have been found in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa due to the severe flood that occurred this morning.
According to the data provided by the Nepal Police, the bodies of 27 women, 37 men, 6 girls, 5 boys and 20 unidentified people have been found. Out of which, the body of 1 man has been found in Rasuwa.
In Nuwakot, 11 bodies have been found, including 5 women and 6 men. In Dhading, 18 bodies have been found, including 11 women, 5 men and 2 (unidentified), according to the police. In Gorkha, the bodies of one woman, 4 men and one boy and 10 people (unidentified) have been found.
In Chitwan, the bodies of 10 women, 10 men, 2 girls, 3 boys and 8 people (unidentified) have been found. According to the police, the bodies of 3 men, 1 girl and 1 boy have been found in Tanahun, while the bodies of 8 men and 3 girls have been found in Nawalparasi East.
403 Tourists Uncontacted Including 133 Indians, 47 Americans, 33 British
The number of tourists missing due to the Rasuwa flood has reached 403.
According to the Nepal Tourism Board, 341 foreigners and 62 Nepali tourists have gone missing. Of which 203 are men and 200 are women.

According to the Nepal Tourism Board's acting CEO Hikmat Singh Air, tourists who went to Gosainkunda and Kailash Mansarovar through various companies have been left unaccounted for.
President urges Prime Minister to mobilize all mechanisms for rescue, search and relief
63 Injured Rescued, 114 Air-Lifted as Search Operations Intensify
According to the Nepal Police, 63 people injured in the flood have been rescued and are currently being treated in various hospitals.
Of these, 21 are being treated at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, 7 at the National Trauma Center, 1 at the Birendra Army Camp Hospital, 21 at Rasuwa Hospital and 16 at Trishuli Hospital, 3 at Norvic Hospital, and 1 at Green City Hospital, according to the police.
According to the Nepal Police, 10 from Timure, 3 from Rasuwagadhi, 3 from Syafrubesi, 5 from Mailung, 1 from Betrawati and 1 from Haku are missing from the police.
The Nepal Army has said that it has rescued 114 people, including 85 people through various flights and 29 by various private helicopter companies. The Nepal Army has rescued 60 people from Timure-Dhunche, 13 from Timure-Trishuli, five from Mailung, four from Betrawati and three from Trishuli-Kathmandu.
60 Hydropower Workers, 26 Police, 13 Armed Police Missing
60 employees, including engineers, working at the 20-megawatt Langtang Khola Hydropower Project under construction in Syafrubesi, Rasuwa, have gone missing.
Managing Director of the project and Secretary of Independent Power Producers Association of Nepal (IPPAN), Bijay Mohan Bhattarai, informed that 60 employees working at the project are missing.
Thirteen Armed Police Force personnel deployed on duty in the Timure and Mailung areas of Rasuwa are also missing. According to Shailendra Thapa, Joint Spokesperson of the Armed Police Force Nepal, nine from Timure and four from Mailung have gone missing.
Similarly, 26 Nepal Police personnel have also gone missing due to the flood. According to Central Police Spokesperson Deputy Inspector General of Police Abinarayan Kafle, police personnel working in police units in Timure, Syafrubesi, Shimle and Mailung have gone missing.
14 employees working at the Customs Office in Timure, Rasuwa are also missing. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle's secretariat informed that 11 of them are permanent and three are contract employees.
Settlements Completely Destroyed, Elderly and Children Among Missing
The flood has caused great damage to the Timure, Syafrubesi, Hakubesi, Mailung, Shantinagar and Betrawati market areas of Rasuwa. Some settlements have been completely destroyed.
According to Dilkrishna Shrestha, 45, of Betrawati, flood-affected Uttargaya Rural Municipality-5, the flood has caused unimaginable human and material damage.
According to him, while some youth managed to reach safety after receiving information through social media before the flood, the elderly, the disabled, and children have been most affected.

"I escaped quickly and saved my life. My in-laws and father are missing in the flood," Shrestha said.
"All of our people have been swept away. All of our property has been destroyed. It's like a dream. We are thinking of our friends and relatives, it feels like a movie," he said.
Even though his family members are missing, Shrestha said that he is taking care of five local children from Betrawati in a safe place.

President Poudel Urges Prime Minister to Mobilize All State Mechanisms
President Ram Chandra Poudel has urged Prime Minister Balendra Shah to mobilize all state mechanisms for the search, rescue and relief of citizens affected by the flood and landslide in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa this morning.
President Poudel, in a telephone conversation this evening, inquired about the loss of life and property caused by the Rasuwa flood and landslide and urged all state organs to mobilize to expedite the rescue, relief and search operations of the suffering people, informed President Poudel's press advisor Kiran Pokharel.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Shah informed the President about the loss of life and property caused by the flood in Rasuwa and said that the government is providing assistance to the citizens, rescue and relief. Press Advisor Pokharel also informed that he would not hesitate to mobilize all the state mechanisms for the rescue and relief efforts.
Earlier, President Ram Chandra Poudel had said that he was deeply saddened by the news of the loss of life and property due to the sudden flood in the Bhotekoshi River flowing through Rasuwa and Nuwakot this morning. He had called on the government, political parties, social organizations, security agencies and all other agencies and the general public to intensify rescue and relief work in this hour of disaster. He also urged the general public in the lower coastal areas to remain vigilant and provide necessary coordination and assistance.
